Vanleigh Vilano 365RL Part 2

Now, for those of you who keep up with the blog and have been waiting, the Vanleigh is finally here at ‘The Center of the RV World,’ Byerly RV in St. Louis, MO! If you haven’t read the previous post, Vanleigh is a new fifth wheel manufacturer that currently has produced a fifth wheel known as the Vilano 365RL. As just a brief background on Vanleigh, Bob Tiffin’s, owner of Tiffin motorhomes, son and grandson decided they wanted to enter the high-end fifth wheel market and from that, Vanleigh was born. Now, down to business.  As you first walk up toward the unit, you will immediately see the quality and premium finishes you would expect from a Tiffin offspring.  There is a large storage compartment up front, a central vacuum tank, and, of course, a six-point auto leveling control panel. As you continue to walk around the unit, you can’t help but notice the massive heights of the slides with slide toppers to keep your slides protected.  Continuing on inside, you are once again greeted by massive slides with floor to ceiling cabinets.  On your left, the fifth wheel opens up into a large middle kitchen and rear living area.  The well-appointed kitchen features a residential refrigerator, convection microwave, and even a dishwasher!  All of the appliances are stainless steel to keep in line with the premium finish.  Thanks to the height of the slides, there is more than enough cabinet space; the pantry portion of the kitchen is even big enough to need a light and below it are multiple drawers with full extension slides.  As someone that enjoys a nice kitchen, I could go on for quite a while about just how well it is set up but for the sake of everyone who would like to know something about the fifth wheel other than the kitchen details, we will press on.  The living room has plenty of seating for the whole family with a leather sofa and theater seating.  There is large TV across from the theater seating which also has a sound bar to round out the movie watching experience. Below the TV is a pull out work station with a storage drawer for all those little things you need to keep close at hand.  Moving to the other half of the Vilano, immediately across from the entry door is a coat closet with vacuum attachments for the central vacuum located below the cabinet.  As you head toward the right, you go up a few stairs and on your left is a large bathroom with a huge shower and, once again, plenty of storage. Continuing on, you will be pleasantly greeted by a large door with glass inserts leading into the bedroom. There is a king size bed in a slide for a goodnight’s rest after a long day of RVing.  Across from the bed is a TV above a dresser.  To the side of the bed is the closet with multiple hanging bars and plenty of shelf space. While that wraps up our tour of the New Vilano 365RL by Vanleigh, it isn’t to say I’ve covered everything.  To do that, I would need a typist.  A couple noteworthy features not mentioned above: this fifth wheel has 12- volt heated tank pads and a multiplex wiring system commonly seen in high-end motorhomes (such as Tiffin).  For those of you who need to see to believe, I encourage you to come on down and take a look today here at Byerly RV in St. Louis, MO.
